A family from Limassol came back to me with a completely non-standard request. They didn’t need
a full design project — they simply couldn’t afford to wait a year and a half for renovations.

They were purchasing several finished apartments from the developer to combine them into one large penthouse. The space was substantial, but it was unclear how to convey each family member’s individual preferences to the developer without jeopardizing the timeline. After all, the contract included penalties for delays.
Rapid Technical Design
After meeting with the developer, it became clear: we had only two weeks to prepare the technical brief - instead of the usual three months we allocate for a well-thought-out, complete project.

We held a series of rapid meetings with the clients and quickly identified the priorities: the main focus was a clear layout, followed by lighting, sockets, and switches. The workload was enormous: over 300 m² had to be planned in just ten days.
We couldn’t have done it without a team - colleagues joined in, and we made it on time.

What if the clients hadn’t thought of calling a designer? Sure, the house would still have been built. But would it have been as convenient, well-thought-out, and truly “theirs”? I doubt it.

Requests like this are becoming increasingly common, and I realized this format requires a special approach: a fast, coordinated design team with maximum focus on results. If you’re buying property during construction, check with the developer whether changes are allowed and how much time you have. Sometimes, two weeks is enough to make a house truly yours.
